One of approximately 1,000 Champagne Edition convertibles built for the model year. The car is identified as a Champagne Edition by the special colors and gold stripes on the lower sides. This vehicle is absolutely breathtaking inside and out! The exterior is finished in alpine white with a beautiful Cameo White vinyl interior. It came out of a collection of very high end cars in Santa Clara, CA. I can't imagine there is a cleaner one on the market today! The interior of this vehicle is virtually flawless and in great condition, it looks like it just came off the production line! Exterior is in excellent condition. Paint is deep and glossy with a few imperfections you can see in the video. It is powered by a fully rebuilt air-cooled 1.6L flat-four engine paired with a manual transmission. I do not have the documents for the rebuild, but take one look at the engine and without a doubt it has been gone through completely. Mechanically it runs and drives perfectly. The motor is very healthy, sounds great and has plenty of power. Transmission shifts smoothly through all gears. This thing is ready to be driven cross country! Beautiful black soft top appears to be like new. Lemmerz 15" steel wheels. Tires appear to be like new. This car cant disappoint. We are located at 2240 Del Monte Ave Monterey 93940.
